10 New Directions For AEW After Double Or Nothing 2023

1. Goldberg In AEW?

Goldberg is all elite

"Could be next".

Tony Khan said he'd been talking to Bill Goldberg during that post-DoN media scrum. Of course, Khan could've just been chatting to Goldberg as a friend, but this is pro wrestling. The notion of Bill working some dates for AEW must've come up in conversation at least once.

AEW may view Goldberg as the ideal means to boost casual interest in their product at a very delicate time. They're launching a new TV show, and have the huge UK stadium show coming up. Whilst some folks out there might hate to admit it, Bill does bring eyes with him. A few squash bouts may be incoming then.

"Goldberg Is #AllElite" once seemed like a silly meme. That's no longer the case in 2023. Tony has a lot of time for Bill personally, and would likely jump at the chance to bring him into AEW if Goldberg fancied it. Hey, AEW. You're next!
