8. Will Ospreay Taking That Belt Up The Card
AEW’s International Title has been a lower-tier championship (for the most part) since creation, but that could change quickly now Will Ospreay holds it. He’ll certainly be featured in higher-profile spots over the summer than some of the most recent champs; Orange Cassidy was a workhorse, but was more at home on Rampage than the bigger shows as champion.
Ospreay will avoid Rampage like the plague.
This is going to be a huge summer run for Will. Many believe he'll headline Wembley Stadium come All In this August, and that could mean his International Title reign is on the shorter side. Or, perhaps TK plans to unify that belt with the World Title and go from there.
Get used to seeing the International gold a lot regardless. It'll become a firm fixture on Dynamite and probably even Collision again now Ospreay has it. The 'Aerial Assassin' is creeping ever closer to the Don Callis Family exit doors too.
