10 New Directions For WWE After Backlash 2023

5. Seth Rollins Going To Night Of Champions

WWE fans may never tire of singing Seth's entrance tune. He's over like crazy these days, and that's true despite not really being handed a meaty storyline to work with in a while. Typically for such a super-worker, Rollins made the most of his house show-esque bout vs. Omos (the big man deserves praise too, by the way) and produced the goods.

Let's hope he's therein thereabouts when Trips is thrashing out who should be World Heavyweight Champ. In an ideal world, he'd go all the way to Night Of Champions in this tournament, then WWE can decide who deserves it more: Seth or Cody Rhodes.

That's inarguably the biggest decision of Raw's 2023.

They can worry about that soon. Post-Backlash, the important thing is that creative realises how useful Rollins is as a babyface with tenure, and rewards him for working hard against Omos with a bigger payday on the next pay-per-view.
