Michael Cole's kayfabe concern was there for all to see when, mid-way through the show, he stopped to let viewers know that Jeff Hardy had been coughing up blood since his match-ending table bump earlier in the night. Cole then said Jeff was in severe abdominal pain, and you know what that means.

Hardy's about to get a much-needed holiday and some time to heal his battle-scarred body.

Anyone worried that Jeff might follow in the footsteps of his brother Matt and step away from the ring shouldn't fret too much. The younger Hardy sibling, despite being badly banged up over the years, has proven his worth all over again inside the cell. Jeff can tick that one off the bucket list, recuperate and move forward.

He has way more to give too. As one of the most seasoned performers on the regular roster, Jeff would be perfect for the part-time role. That'd let him rest in between major matches and keep his nostalgia act fresh. Some time off will do him the world of good, and mean a hot return during WrestleMania season.
