10 New Directions For WWE After Royal Rumble 2023

1. Sami Zayn = Universal Title Challenger?

This must happen.

Sami Zayn officially exited The Bloodline at Royal Rumble. No more 'Honorary Uce', no more happy-go-lucky handshakes and no more pep talks from the 'Tribal Chief'. He's now a mortal enemy of the family, and has chosen his side. That side, despite their own problems in the past, is next to Kevin Owens.

If Cody is challenging exclusively for the WWE Title, then Roman still has one belt up for grabs at 'Mania. Taking that Universal gold would be a dagger through the heart of the Bloodline leader, and that's why Sami should go for it. His message? 'You're gonna lose both your belts on the biggest stage, you son of a bitch!'.

Zayn's story with Roman and The Usos has been too good for WWE to p*ss it up against a wall and book Rhodes as Reigns' only adversary. They need to come through on this, and to treat Sami's hard work with respect.
