8. Legends Going After The Wyatt Sicks?

The Wyatt Sicks have now beaten pretty much everybody in the SmackDown tag-team division. Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis won a beefy TLC match at SummerSlam. Before the match, WWE showed off The Dudley Boyz and The Hardys in the crowd, and both sets of legends soaked up acclaim like true masters. At one point, Bubba Ray even asked D-Von to "get the tables".

Ah, memories.

A full-on Dudley Boyz comeback is highly unlikely. Could they work a 3D spot here or there? Absolutely, but full blown matches are surely a thing of the past for the wood-crumbling heroes of yore. Matt and Jeff Hardy could be a different prospect altogether. After all, they're still actively working on the TNA side. Michael Cole even mentioned that the siblings are heavily involved on Impact, and The Hardys did appear on NXT earlier this very year.

Is it too far-fetched to imagine that Matt and Jeff might take the fight to The Wyatts? Matt, in particular, has some history with Uncle Howdy's brother Bray, so WWE could mine that plot if they so wished. If not, then simply having The Sicks run through some iconic teams from the past sounds better than watching them clash with guys they've already beaten.

Ideally, this writer would've taken the belts from them at SummerSlam. Andrade and Rey Fenix or Fraxiom would have been personal top picks, but Triple H sees things differently. Here's hoping he's willing to think outside the box and book The Wyatts against some legends.

Neat twist of fate there if the Bray context is involved. Ahem.
