Fresh is the right word to describe incoming women's division newbies like Kiana James, Blair Davenport and Lyra Valkyria. All three are totally new to fans who only watch Raw and SmackDown. They're be familiar to NXT viewers, but that's a smaller audience than the wider main roster fanbase.

This is a good thing.

James, Davenport and Valkyria have a chance to both continue good work done in developmental and experiment with their characters without fear of backlash from hardcore NXT lovers. That should be celebrated, because it represents a chance for all three to break free of any Shawn Michaels-led comfort zones and spread their wings.

It's also neat to see some newbies in the mix on Raw and SmackDown generally. Stalwarts like Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan etc will have more opponents to keep them busy. Things were already looking up on the female side thanks to Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton, but creative has bags of options now.
