10 New Directions For WWE After WrestleMania 35
1. Dean Ambrose - Mr Money In The Bank?
I know, I know, Dean Ambrose is leaving WWE.
Dean Ambrose said his goodbyes to the WWE Universe alongside his Shield brothers after Raw went off the air, his last act on television was being put through the announce table by Bobby Lashley after defending his wife's honour.
This is the final time we'll see him in the company...just like when Drew McIntyre Claymore'd him on the stage a few weeks ago was the last time we'd see him...or when he teamed with Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins at Fastlane for a final appearance...you see where I'm going with this.
I may be the only person at WhatCulture who believes this, but Dean Ambrose leaving WWE is a work.
I've argued this ever since WWE made the announcement of his departure in the most un-WWE way possible. When people leave Vince's company, regardless of their tenure, there are no fond farewells or countdowns to their departure, they are just gone. For some, it's like they never even existed.
Why would WWE, especially in the wake of AEW's imminent arrival, make such a fanfare for one of their most beloved wrestlers walking out?
Because he isn't.
Imagine the reaction when Ambrose is inserted as a last minute replacement into the Money in the Bank ladder match, and wins it for the second time in his career to become the man waiting in the wings to ruin either Rollins' or Kingston's fairytale title reign.
The Lunatic Fringe isn't leaving WWE, he's just getting started.
