10 Next Steps AEW MUST Take After Double Or Nothing

1. Book Omega Vs. Moxley

Jon Moxley's All Elite Wrestling debut was electric.

In what will likely go down as one of the year's best angles, the former Dean Ambrose was shown stomping through the crowd as Chris Jericho cut his Double Or Nothing victory promo. Mox caught 'Y2J' by surprise. A double-arm DDT delivered with more pop than he ever showed in WWE followed before the referee met the same fate. A suitably chaotic start, but the debut didn't really heat up until Moxley crossed paths with Kenny Omega, who fought him off valiantly, with their brawl taking them through the crowd, towards the stage, and up the giant poker chips.

Another DDT followed. Then, finally, Omega was flung to the ground below, leaving Mox standing tall as this historic show came to an end. With the atmosphere hot enough to melt tungsten, the 33-year-old had made the perfect impact.

Moxley vs. Omega became a must-book match that night. With Hangman Page and Jericho set to contest the AEW Title, this is an ideal bout to place second from the top at All Out, and Fyter Fest/Fight For The Follow offer opportunities to continue this growing feud, ensuring a molten crowd by the time AEW hits Chicago on 31 August.
