10 Next Steps AEW MUST Take After Double Or Nothing

2. Mend Fences With PAC

Ticking this box would go some way to addressing the previous point.

PAC has been one of wrestling's most effective heels from the moment he turned on Rich Swann at WWE Roadblock: End Of The Line in December 2016, kickstarting the 'King Of The Cruiserweights' run that shot him from forgotten man to must-see entertainer. It unlocked previously unseen vaults of charisma that nobody knew existed, and now, as the 'Bastard,' PAC is in the form of his life, living up to his new moniker by taking his villainy to new levels in Dragon Gate, on the British indies, and beyond.

"Creative differences" (or visa issues, depending on who you believe) saw PAC pulled from his Double Or Nothing bout with Hangman Page and, presumably, the promotion as a whole. His current status is unclear.

Regardless of where you stand on reports that PAC didn't want to lose while still holding DG's Open the Dream Gate championship, mending fences would benefit both sides. For PAC, it'd mean performing on the biggest stage available to him, while AEW would be plugging a major roster gap with another top-level heel.
