10 Non-Wrestling Roles For The Undertaker At WrestleMania 31
7. Being Named The New Authority Figure
WWE programming has been in a state of disarray since Survivor Series. In losing to Team Cena at the event, The Authority was forced out of power. In the weeks that followed, Raw and SmackDown were hosted by a variety of Superstars and celebrities. So far, the Anonymous Raw General Manager, Daniel Bryan and Chris Jericho have taken the reins of Raw. It's obvious WWE has no clear direction where they're going with this storyline. It's also unknown when they plan to unveil who the permanent new authority figure is. That said, there's no bigger and better platform to do it on than WrestleMania. Granted, WrestleMania 31 is three months away and they'd have to find someone new each week to run Raw until then. But it'd be worth it in the end, especially if the new authority figure is The Undertaker. It'd be odd to see him in a place of power, but as noted, WWE has humanized the Undertaker character significantly in recent years. So, it may not be too far out of the question. It'd also live up to the hype if they built up the announcement going into the show and delivered with Undertaker. He could be a Jack Tunney-like authority figure in that he wouldn't have to appear on TV much at all. It'd fit his persona perfectly.
