Story: When Christian hosted Raw with Edge on December 29, 2013 there was a comment by Jerry Lawler during the broadcast where he said that Christian was retired. We already knew that Edge was, but for Lawler to say that about Christian was interesting because it was the first time we had heard that on WWE TV. Keep in mind that it didn't come from Christian. Based on a report from Tuesday, a fan noted that when he asked Christian if he was retired during a charity bingo event, Christian said that he wasn't retired. He added that Lawler was wrong in what he said. This could be one of those situations where Christian is just lying to get the fan worked up since wrestlers love to "work the marks" or he's telling the truth. The only way we'll know for sure is if he wrestles again. Why People Believe It: This one is really fresh, so it's hard to know the reaction to it right now. However, it's believable since we haven't heard from Christian directly as confirmation that he's retired. Should We Believe It: It seems like he's just working that fan and he probably is retired. Right now it's hard to think that he'll wrestle again since it's been so long. He's also had a number of concussions and shoulder problems in recent years, so why keep going when he's in his 40s?
