5. Kalisto
Kalisto is yet another luchador wrestler that WWE tries to promote because they know the kids love the luchador look. The mask, the high flying style, the exciting entrance, its all there. However, one only has to look at Kalistos current tag partner Sin Cara to see how the gimmick could potentially falter. Sin Cara used to have a lot of momentum when he first made his way to WWE, but now hes constantly losing on Raw and Smackdown and is only sticking around due to his merchandise. If Kalisto was just a standard luchador wrestler who put on a great show, then maybe it wouldnt be such a big deal. However, lately Kalisto has been a bit insistent on trying to get the fans to like him. His constant pandering to the crowd by having them chant lucha lucha is starting to reach Jim Duggan levels of insecurity. The fans arent buying into it either as one look into the NXT crowd will show that they simply dont want to do what Kalisto is trying to get them to do. Its one goofy part of his gimmick that needs to go away. Just be a great wrestler and let the fans decide what they want to chant.
