10 NXT Stars Who Desperately Need Main WWE Roster Call-Up

5. Roxanne Perez

Roxanne Perez was an exception signing when she was contracted by WWE back in March. While most NXT recruits were college athletes, the artist formerly known as Rok-C was already an established name around the wrestling world.

Having become the 'inaugural' ROH Women's World Champion at 19 years of age, Perez also became the youngest female champion in the Ring of Honor's history. On top of that, she held the title for 119 days before losing it in a winner takes all match with Deonna Purrazzo.

While Perez would stand as a viable end to Mandy Rose's reign as NXT Women's Champion, there is a strong argument that she doesn't need that belt, and that rub should go to a Cora Jade or Nikkita Lyons.

Roxanne won't lose anything by skipping the NXT Women's Title and jumping straight to the main roster to tangle with the likes of Bianca Belair and Bayley. Let's remember she is still only 20 years of age.

Raw's women's division is packed out at the moment, so injecting Perez into the SmackDown picture as the brand's top female babyface could free up Liv Morgan to turn heel and open up so many doors on Fridays.

There is no doubting Perez is the women's star of tomorrow.
