10 Obscure WWE Royal Rumble Records

2. Shortest Time Spent In Two Rumbles

Recordholder: Titus O’Neil, 9 seconds

It’s pretty common knowledge among Royal Rumble afficionados that Santino Marella holds the record for the shortest time spent in a single Rumble match, being dumped over the top rope in the 2009 bout in 1.9 seconds. This just edged out The Warlord for his 20-year record of 2 seconds.

But anyone can have one bad night. The issue becomes a bit thornier when you consider who has spent the shortest amount of time in two Rumbles. And you have to look no further than to Titus O’Neil, who managed an astonishingly brief tenure of 9 seconds (4 seconds in 2015 and 5 seconds in 2019). His promo video declaring for the 2019 Rumble was three times as long as those two runs combined.

That’s damn near impossible to top. No one else has two Rumble times of less than 10 seconds, much less five seconds or less. The only active wrestler who could conceivably top this ignominious record this year is Sheamus, who was tossed from the 2018 Rumble in 2 seconds, or Miz or MVP, both of whom have logged 7-second appearances (in 2007 and 2010, respectively).
