Back to The Authority and a man who is no stranger to occupational gimmicks. Some two decades after stinking up our screens as a wrestling dentist Glenn Jacobs returned to the occupational world as Corporate Kane, the so-called 'Director of Operations' of The Authority.

What does a DOO do? Well, the DOO is actually the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in most large companies, and as Triple H filled that onscreen role it couldn't exactly be doubled. Either way, the responsibilities of the role are to oversee the running of a company on a day-to-day basis.

Kane's main responsibilities seemed to be to thwart babyfaces and provide a foil for Seth Rollins' irritating personality to flourish. Whilst he was undeniably successful in his role, Kane was removed as DOO at Hell in a Cell 2015.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
