10 Odd One Out Wrestling Champions

4. Miss Kitty / ‘Hervina’

While women's wrestling in the West has had a tumultuous history, the worst period for the WWE Women's Championship stretches from Madusa throwing it in a trashcan to Lita taking the strap from Stephanie McMahon in the main event of 21 August 2000 edition of Raw.

Every effort has been made to narrow this choice down to one. However, both competitors and their subsequent reigns are a blight on the WWE Women's championship and women's wrestling.

Miss Kitty (a.k.a. The Kat) was a non-wrestler who entered the business via her marriage to Jerry Lawler. Despite this, she was awarded the WWE Women's Championship after winning a Four Corners Evening Gown match at Armageddon 1999, flashing her breasts to the audience in celebration.

Just when things couldn't seem to get any more reductive, Kitty's challenger was 'Hervina'; Harvey Wippleman in deliberately bad drag. To strain to give a minor positive slant, at least the two non-wrestlers didn't attempt to put on a traditional pro-wresting clash. 'Hervina' won the Women's Championship in a Lumberjill Snow Bunny match contested in a pool of fake snow. Fortunately, Jacqueline provided a merciful end to 'Hervina's' reign after just one day.
