10 On-Screen WCW Couples You’ve Totally Forgotten

8. Paisley & Kwee Wee

Yours truly remembers owning a copy of the old WCW Magazine. Inside it, there was an article explaining why newcomer Kwee Wee couldn't be homosexual because he cavorted to ringside with his valet Paisley (Sharmell Sullivan-Huffman). According to WCW's writers, the fact ol' Kwee had kissed a girl meant he was 100% straight.

OK then.

Obviously, this kind of thing reads weird now, but WCW were clearly keen to present the pink-wearing pair as a couple. They kissed, they flirted and they did everything to get that Cruiserweight belt around Kwee Wee's well-sculpted waist. It wasn't to be.

Side note: Kwee Wee also had an even shorter romance with a character named 'Papaya'. She was played by former WWF medic B.B - she also went on to become Taylor Vaughn during TNA's early years. That was a 'blink and you'll miss it' union though. Papaya was only around for a few weeks at best.
