10 On-Screen WCW Couples You’ve Totally Forgotten

5. Torrie Wilson & Shane Douglas

Torrie Wilson couldn't resist Shane Douglas' gruff, barking tones.

She'd been aligned with real-life boyfriend Billy Kidman as part of the New Blood faction throughout most of 2000. At June's Great American Bash though, Vince Russo couldn't resist booking yet another Russo-riffic swerve and had Torrie end her time as Billy's gal during a match against Hulk Hogan.

Then, she disappeared from screens for a month or so. When Wilson returned, she was now by Shane's side and pretty much playing the standard vindictive 'meal ticket' witch that pro wrestling so loves female to play. At Fall Brawl, her issues with Kidman resurfaced in a mixed tag 'Scaffold Match' also involving Douglas, Billy and Madusa.

Torrie's flirting ways ended rather abruptly when she left WCW in December 2000. She'd pop back up in the WWF during the 'Invasion' angle, and she'd continue to be cast as that same manipulative babe she'd always been.

The 'Franchise' wasn't her first lover in WCW. Hell, neither was Kidman...
