10 On-Screen WCW Couples You’ve Totally Forgotten

...this guy was.

Torrie actually made her debut under the name 'Samantha' in early-1999. Her first appearance also marked a rarity in WCW: Sam debuted on Thunder, not Nitro or pay-per-view. That cannot have happened too many times throughout the 'B' show's near-three year run.

Wilson was introduced by the nWo as a gift for David Flair to thank him for doing their bidding against his father Ric. Yes, she was borderline cast as an escort paid to smile and hang off Dave's arm. WCW would change the dynamic of that by summer and present the pair as boyfriend and girlfriend from that point on.

Things didn't change again until Flair caught Torrie flirting with Billy Kidman in the locker rooms backstage. How could she? Weirdly, after ditching David for Kidman, Wilson also flirted with Eddie Guerrero to make Billy jealous. That seemed to be her only purpose in the company.
