Ever since his debut, its been obvious that WWE sees Roman Reigns as a future megastar. He first arrived two years ago at Survivor Series 2012 as part of The Shield with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, and his smouldering charisma and imposing physique struck a chord with the WWE Universe. When The Shield disintegrated and Reigns struck out on his own as a solo superstar, he stood out as a strong candidate to lead WWE through the next decade. His sudden illness could not have come at a worse time. Coming off a huge win over Randy Orton at SummerSlam, Reigns star was in ascendant and he was set to take on his former Shield brother, Seth Rollins at Septembers Night of Champions.
