10 Potential Bryan Danielson Dojo Recruits In AEW

The son of the late ‘Loose Cannon’, Brian Pillman Jr has been making a name for himself as part of ‘The Varsity Blonds’, alongside Griff Garrison and Julia Hart. Although this team has served those involved well enough while they found their footing in the company, it simply does not feel like it’s meant to last forever. A split between the group has been teased over the past few months, yet nothing has come from it as of now.

It’s obvious that Pillman has inherited some of the natural charisma his father displayed and, even if there are areas he still needs to improve in, it feels like it’s time to move beyond his 'Varsity Blonds' gimmick.

Late last year, Pillman found himself in the middle of a feud with arguably the biggest heel in AEW, MJF. It was during this feud that we not only got a glimpse of what Pillman could be capable of as a singles star, but also saw him form a brief connection with fellow Cincinnati wrestler, Jon Moxley.

With Moxley officially accepting Danielson’s offer, one could assume he might have his own vision of the future of wrestling that includes Brian Pillman Jr. While the young star still has a lot to learn, the ‘Danielson Dojo' might be just what he needs to help channel the ‘Loose Cannon’ in him.
