10 Potential WWE Super ShowDown 2020 Opponents For Goldberg

9. Shinsuke Nakamura

Shinsuke Nakamura has gone from Intercontinental Title security to WWE uncertainty over the past seven days. His IC Title loss to Braun Strowman on the latest SmackDown shows where Shin is at in the promotional pecking order right now. He, along with mouthpiece Sami Zayn and on/off partner Cesaro, is just kinda' there.

He's ripe for another job soon, and it could come at the hands of Goldberg.

It's not impossible to see Cesaro repeatedly interfere (Sami probably won't be in Riyadh due to political reasons) on behalf of Nakamura before Goldberg challenges both to a handicap match. Then, WWE can go about the task of tearing the heels to pieces by having them job to an ageing hero.

Yes, it'd be another step backwards for both, but these Saudi specials could be considered house shows with cameras, pyro and ballyhoo; again, they're fringe programming and the kind of cards fans forget minutes after they've happened. Afterwards, Zayn could argue that things would've been different had he been there.
