10 Potentially Invalid Reasons You Still Watch WWE
2. When It's Good, It's GREAT!
When WWE is bad, it's catastrophic. But every so often it is AMAZING.
With any ever-present television product there are bound to be fluctuating periods of Good Content vs. Bad Content. Despite this though, what makes WWE so frustrating is its seemingly unwavering desire to turn out content that is is there for the sake of it rather than actual deft storytelling.
It might be the intricate details played out in angles over month or years ,like in the Bayley and Sasha Banks feud or the slow turn between the Macho Man and Hulk Hogan. It may be the larger than life moments, such as Kane appearing at Bad Blood '97 for the first time, or being a part of Bryan's B+ Player run. Whatever it is, WWE can be fantastic when it wants to be. It's the occasional moments we see where the product is so great that keep us hooked on for more.
Unfortunately with the way company is constructed with the focus on content over quality, these moments and stories are more few and far between than ever. As a casual fan, this may quench your thirst and appeal to you giving you everything you need as a wrestling fan but for others, this may not be enough.
