10 Potentially Invalid Reasons You Still Watch WWE
3. You're Invested In The Talent
Before it's mass releases, WWE had even more of a hoard of talent that does now.
At it's disposal, the company boasts some of the best talent in the world. At the top of the card the likes of Big E and Roman Reigns grace viewers as star attractions, while down the rest of the roster a collection of the best in-ring workers and talkers in the business are compiled and written into varying storylines.
One key asset the company has is the sheer amount of talent and the variety of the performers themselves, meaning if you look hard enough or if you followed a certain performer from another promotion, you are sure to find someone that appeals to you in their working style. The issue is that WWE has become synonymous with bad or inappropriate booking decisions which hamper a performer's ability to flourish within their system. In the case of the likes of Ricochet, Angel Garza, Zelina Vega (as a manager, first and foremost), or most recently Karrion Kross, a disturbing amount of wrestlers find themselves in limbo despite major fan support.
With social media being so prevalent and fans being able to connect to individual performers beyond the characters they portray, often they find themselves rooting for that performer despite the terrible booking decisions they have to overcome. Loyalty to certain acts may mean you put yourself through horrid viewing in the hopes that your favourite performer eventually has their time in the spotlight.
