10 Potentially Invalid Reasons You Still Watch WWE

1. Habit

Much like Vince McMahon's inclination to favour particular types of superstar or troublesome story beats, we all fall victim to our basic instinct of routine and habit.

How often do we automatically unlock our phone and open Facebook, Twitter, or any one of a whole host of apps without even batting an eyelid? If you have been watching WWE for any prolonged period of time, it's likely you have the same habitual routine with WWE's YouTube or network app. You may not even like today's product, but there is that small piece of you that simply has to check on the YouTube page for Raw highlights, if for no other reason than fear of missing out. If WWE has been a part of your routine, then, like anything else, it becomes second nature to check in and keep up with current events.

For too long, WWE stood alone as the driving force in pro wrestling worldwide, and an entire generation of fans had yet to experience a landscape where multiple wrestling spaces existed. Now with the very real counterpart in AEW on the mainstream level, along with IMPACT and other major companies clawing for exposure, it might be time to branch out and open yourself up to some variety.

Fear of missing out is a real issue. As is clinging onto a negative investment.
