10 Precise Moments When TNA Careers Ended

7. Bully Ray

Well so much for this.

Dixie Carter beamed with pride as she announced that none other than Bully Ray was returning to the promotion as General Manager in July 2015. The news was greeted well by IMPACT fans, but it would only be a few weeks before Bully had tired of TNA yet again.

His final performance? Ray was shown selling a backstage attack on the 5 August episode of IMPACT Wrestling, and that was very much that. Whomever was responsible for the ambush got away without meeting Bully in-ring (which might've been the plan), because he departed not long afterwards.

By 24 August, Bully was rocking his old Bubba-Ray Dudley gimmick alongside D-Von on Raw. There's a chance he'd already been in talks with WWE about a vintage tag-team return when Dixie signed him on as TV GM. That's guesswork, but it'd make sense.

Either that or Ray just didn't like the creative team's plans.
