Last Seen: vs. Shinsuke Nakamura - NXT TakeOver: New York II, 2016

Samoa Joe, for over 10 years, used the Muscle Buster as his finishing move without hurting a single person. Then, in a freak accident, he delivered the move to Tyson Kidd and left him with a spinal injury that only 5% ever live through. WWE immediately asked him to scrap it.

He didn't entirely, but the move took a backseat to the Coquina Clutch after he turned heel in NXT in 2015. From there, Finn Bálor took the move a few times on TV tapings and, in particular, from the second rope at TakeOver: The End, but the last recorded usage was against Shinsuke Nakamura at TakeOver New York II in 2016.

Like Owens before him, he'll often tease the spot before allowing an opponent to slip out of it. He's also addressed the situation in interviews and, to this day, insists he could use it whenever he wanted to.
