The latest in a long line of stars who were forced to ditch their finisher before moving to WWE, Kevin Steen's package piledriver was one of the deadliest moves on the indies for years.

But with WWE's piledriver ban in full effect, it had to go when he signed for NXT. No matter that it was statistically much safer than a regular one, with the person taking it raised well above the usual spot where their head goes, it simply wasn't permissable under their current rules and Owens concocted the Pop-Up Powerbomb instead.
