10 Predictions For John Cena’s WrestleMania 34 Opponent
3. Hulk Hogan
Hulk Hogan's not back in WWE's good graces just yet, but with a writing team willing to send out SmackDown Live!'s top star to use outdated and offensive slurs without any immediate recompense, 'The Hulkster's ill-advised comments probably wouldn't seem too out of place on a random episode of Monday Night Raw.
John Cena can, at this point, argue a place on WWE's modern Mount Rushmore alongside Steve Austin, The Rock and 'The Hulkster' himself, if only based on the longevity of his reign compared to the relatively short needle-moving tenures of those that came before him.
Furthermore, as established elsewhere in this article, Cena can be relied upon to provide phenomenal matches with just about anybody that can at least match up to his star quality even if neither can lay claim to the technical skills of a Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels.
As long as Vince McMahon and Hulk Hogan continue to draw breaths, the pair will find a way to make money together, and throwing Cena into that mix would probably only enhance the excitement levels for the Chairman.
With neither requiring a storyline beyond their own lofty statures to sell the battle, an actual retirement match from Hogan against a fellow all-time great may not be too wild a suggestion for a WrestleMania card that'll likely run low on genuine megastars.
