10 Problems With WrestleMania 38 Nobody Wants To Admit

7. Omos Is Going To Get Squashed

Ever since he ditched the ridiculous Giant Ninja gimmick, the 7 foot 3 inch Omos has been on a roll in WWE, tearing through anyone that stood across the ring from him. It seemed like he was Vince McMahon's next big project, and even The Undertaker compared him to Andre the Giant, a compliment of the highest order.

When Omos split from long-time tag team partner AJ Styles in December, it seemed like the two were on a collision course for a match at WrestleMania 38. Instead, the potentially hot feud went nowhere, ending as quickly as it started with a throwaway match on RAW.

With 'The Phenomenal One' out of the picture, WrestleMania season looked quite uncertain for Omos, until a few weeks ago when it was announced he would wrestle a mystery opponent at the PPV. We now know that opponent is a newly returned babyface Bobby Lashley, a man who until recently was the top champion on the RAW brand, and someone who WWE seems determined to keep strong.

So what does this mean for the colossal Superstar? Well if history tells us anything, it's that the returning former champion, who never actually lost his WWE Championship, is going to steamroll over Omos, handing him the first loss of his career and likely by way of submission. Where this leaves Omos going forward is anybody's guess, but the experiment looks like it's about to be over, which is a massive mistake as WWE looks to build its stars of tomorrow.
