10 Problems With WrestleMania 38 Nobody Wants To Admit
8. AEW Gives Away Better Matches For Free Each Week On Dynamite
WrestleMania 38 is being described on television as the most stupendous entry in the history of the PPV. So why have we already seen so many of the matches on RAW and SmackDown for months? Has WrestleMania really become a vehicle for rematches? Or has crrative hit a bit of drought?
Why would anybody order a Premium Live Event to watch Drew McIntyre wrestle Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss for the 500th time this year? We hardly bother to watch it on SmackDown! Does anybody really care about RK-Bro, The Street Profits and Alpha Academy exchanging the Tag Team Titles again? Of course they don't. There is just nothing stupendous about any of this, especially when AEW gives away much better quality matches for free every week on Dynamite and Rampage.
Yeah sure, something can also be said about Tony Khan's approach to booking as well, but the point here is that fans of All Elite Wrestling don't have to subscribe to a Network or pay any extra money to see matches like Brian Danielson Vs. Kenny Omega or Chris Jericho Vs. Jungle Boy. So what makes WWE think anybody beyond the casual wrestling fan would have any interest in their show?
