10 Problems WWE Caused Themselves With NXT
9. Too Many Main Eventers
The current NXT roster is incredible and is blessed with a bit of everything. We have super workers like Roderick Strong and Hideo Itami alongside personalities like Nikki Cross and Eric Young. You could pluck any five of them out and mould them into stars with the right storylines and chances. The problem is, there would be another five sitting on the bench waiting for their turn.
Because right now NXT is full of main eventers in a company that only has room for so many. There’s no chance in hell that Itami, Strong, Kassius Ohno, Young, Killian Dain, Bobby Roode, Cross, Ruby Riot, Ember Moon, and Asuka can all be stars. It’s not possible. Some of them have got to fall by the wayside and what happens then?
Well, they either go back to the indies and find a spot or they drop down into the Cesaro role. The role of a wrestler that everyone knows is good enough but whom just can’t catch a break. NXT has got one hell of a roster, but in a company that only has so many spots some of them are destined to be wasted.
