10 Problems WWE MUST Solve In The 2019 Draft

4. Fresh Starts For Absent Stars

AoP Raw
WWE

AOP returned to prominence on this week's Raw, cutting a pre-recorded vignette that saw them promise to wreak havoc on the tag division in their native tongues. It was a welcome appearance from a tandem that hasn't been seen since the start of year. Fingers crossed that the long-absent bruisers enjoy a fresh start wherever they land, though they aren't the only MIA wrestlers dying for something new.

EC3 hasn't been on television in forever. Kairi Sane and Asuka have vanished since Paige underwent her latest neck surgery, leaving them directionless. Are The IIconics still a thing? They've barely done anything of note after losing the Women's Tag Team Championships. The "soon-to-be-repackaged" Liv Morgan? Heath Slater? Uhhh... The Ascension?

While recent months have seen WWE utilise their gigantic roster with much greater breadth, the talent pool is still teeming with performers who can't find a way onto Raw or SmackDown at the moment. The Draft is the perfect point of return. There's little sense in starting storylines for them in the week running up to the great reshuffle anyway.
