4. Bray Wyatt Vs. Finn Bálor - 2017

Surely this has to be considered the final nail in the old Wyatt Family Bray Wyatt character’s coffin? How could anyone be redeemed after the nonsense we saw during this feud. What makes it so much worse is the fact that this should have been an easy goal for WWE. This had everything it needed to recapture the terrifying magic of Undertaker-Kane in 1997.

The Demon Bálor had been one of WWE’s most heavily protected characters. And despite all the times WWE hung him out to dry, Bray Wyatt is one of the greatest creative geniuses in wrestling today; there’s nothing he can’t pull off if given the backing.

Amazingly though, instead of a vicious war between two supernatural entities, we got one of the worst special effects treatments ever seen in wrestling. And really, it’s next to impossible for anyone to remember anything from this feud aside from that.

On one episode of Raw, as Bálor was in the ring and Bray appeared on the ‘Tron, Wyatt himself transformed into Sister Abigail. Or at least that’s what everyone presumed since clearly the people writing it could not have cared less.

By the time Bray got ill before TLC that year and the feud was altogether scrapped, it came as a relief to fans who really had seen enough.
