Vince McMahon's potential retirement is a subject that is being discussed in things like dirtsheets and even within the business, but the man himself has remained resolutely silent on his future. You can understand why speculation is heightened, as he turned seventy years old this summer. He's also looking noticeably older and, dare I say, frailer too. Plus, you've got the emerging forces of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, as well as the corporate stewardship of people like George Barrios. WWE is now more than ever equipped and ready to deal with a post-Vince future. But the man himself is offering little in the way of a potential exit or succession strategy, and on investor calls there's been no one with the bravery to ask him about his future. Does he intend to go on for years more, or is his retirement likely to go down within the next year or two? Someone on the next conference call should dare to ask him - I'd love to see Vince's response.
