10 Questions WWE Doesn't Want You To Ask After Survivor Series 2015
7. Have Sheamus And King Barrett Really Fallen This Far?
So, yeah, Sheamus' night may have picked up a little later on, but the way things started off for him and King Barrett bordered on pure humiliation. In this hastily thrown together traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series match, the duo didn't get their own entrance, looked like fools during The New Days's promo, and ended up not faring much better in the match itself. It's become something of a WWE trope to have the Money in the Bank briefcase holder lose again and again until they eventually cash-in, but Sheamus has fallen so far down the card that it's honestly surprising that he managed to do so at all. While things may now be looking a little better for him, the same can't be said for poor old King Barrett, a superstar a million miles away from his red hot days as Bad News Barrett. Still, this match really begs the question of why Sheamus lost in such a pathetic manner here. For that matter, why did The New Day walk out? Yes, they're cowardly heels, but this should have been an opportunity to really show their dominance off on a big stage. Instead, everyone who competed here came across like an afterthought, something which could be said for this match concept in general last night.
