10 Quick Fixes For WWE In 2018
5. Put More Stars On SmackDown
Look at the top stars across both brands and it becomes clear things are skewed in Raw's favour. Monday nights feature names like Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman, The Miz, Kurt Angle and more. Meanwhile, SmackDown can only really boast about AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, Shane McMahon and possibly either Daniel Bryan or Shinsuke Nakamura.
The problem is, Nakamura isn't quite that top-tier WWE star yet, and Daniel Bryan isn't wrestling these days. This means the show has become dependant on Styles to carry the work load against mediocre foes like Jinder Mahal and Baron Corbin. If WWE genuinely viewed both brands as equal, they'd sort that out.
Guys like Samoa Joe, Bray Wyatt and Finn Bálor would see a new lease of life on Tuesday nights. Sure, Wyatt only traded blue for red earlier this year, but he's been lost on Raw. Fresh-feeling matches against Nakamura, or as a babyface against KO/Sami Zayn, would reinvigorate his career.
Plus, we just really want to see Joe vs. AJ in WWE.
