10 Quick Fixes To Improve WWE

5. Protect 10 Guys

In WWE, there are essentially three tiers of talent. The jobbers: Heath Slater, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, etc. Main-Eventers: John Cena, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan. The Mid-card: Everyone else. If Dolph Ziggler and Kane fought 100 times, you would expect them to each win about 50 times. WWE is too afraid, or doesn't care enough to make one guy really seem better than the other. Mid-carders just exchange wins ad nauseum, so no one really benefits and moves up the card. If Floyd Mayweather or Cain Velasquez only won half the time, no one would care. Top guys and champions actually have to win to look legitimate. Cesaro, Miz, Big E, Jack Swagger and so many others are just a sadly forgettable part of the show. WWE doesn't push any of them over the other consistently, so they just appear to exist solely to eat up TV. WWE needs to protect a few more guys, even if they do perceive that they have flaws. Otherwise, they have an entire roster filled with stars that aren't so super, and WWE Mediocrestars doesn't have a great ring to it.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
