10 Quickest Title Changes In WWE WrestleMania History
1. Kane Vs. Chavo Guerrero (WrestleMania XXIV - 0m11s)
For years, this was the shortest match in the entirety of WrestleMania's history. And it was for a title.
Kane won a Battle Royal on the pre-show of WrestleMania XXIV to earn a shot at the ECW Championship later that night. The man he would be facing was Chavo "I'm Eddie's Nephew, Not Brother" Guerrero, who had held the belt for a few months at this point.
Chavo made his was down to the ring and awaited his demonic foe's arrival. However, Kane managed to get one up on Chavo by emerging through the ring and sneaking up on the unexpected champion from behind. The bell rang, Kane hit Chavo with a Chokeslam, and became ECW Champion in just 11 seconds.
Once again, this was more of an angle than a match. No one was really interested in seeing these two have a long bout and Kane's gimmick allowed him to get away with something like this. Whilst it didn't exactly paint the ECW Championship in a great light, it was still an enjoyable shock.
Whilst Kane's title reign after this was hardly ground-breaking, this moment will live on in 'Mania history for its surprise value if nothing else.
