10 Real Life Wrestling Feuds Where Justice Was Delivered In The Ring
4. Steve Austin vs. Eric Bischoff
For years, Steve Austin had a major grudge against Eric Bischoff. Watching Austin's infamous shoot-style promo from ECW - where the guy was encouraged by Paul Heyman to tell his side of the story to the camera - is fascinating, and it's clear that Austin had beef with Bischoff's decision to fire him from WCW via FedEx whilst he was on the shelf injured. By the time Bischoff would end up in WWE in 2002, Steve Austin had become one of the biggest names ever to grace a pro wrestling ring, and certainly a bigger deal than his former boss. To his credit, Bischoff would seek 'The Rattlesnake' out, looking to bury the hatchet. Incredibly, this would lead to the tandem working a program alongside one another in WWE, leading to a match at No Way Out 2003 which turned out to be little more than a squash put together to give Austin revenge. The circumstances surrounding their previous heat were acknowledged on-screen by the announcers, but both guys actually went on to become pretty good friends, almost like Austin was exorcising an old demon by beating Bischoff in a match.
