10 Real Life Wrestling Feuds Where Justice Was Delivered In The Ring
3. JBL vs. The Blue Meanie
At the One Night Stand Pay-Per-View in 2005, things got out of hand between JBL and The Blue Meanie during a routine brawl between a large group of stars. Homing in on Meanie, JBL would pepper the man with several gruesome shots, leaving his face a mangled, bloody mess. It was an unprovoked attack which noticeably had Meanie fuming, and thinking of nothing but revenge. After the Meanie confronted Layfield backstage, the pair went at it verbally, and the whole thing was shockingly turned into a storyline just weeks later. The incident was recognised on television as the reason for a match between the pair on an episode of Smackdown, and it seemed like both men could work together to produce the bout. What JBL didn't know was that Stevie Richards, who was at ringside representing The Blue Meanie as part of the Blue World Order, had other things in mind. Interrupting the match, Richards clocked JBL with a super-stiff chair shot, one which would see blood gushing from the head of the big Texan. Justice was served, in the most brutal fashion imaginable.
