10 Real-Life Wrestling Feuds That Played Out In Public
5. Randy Orton Vs. Mr Kennedy
The on-screen characters portrayed by Randy Orton and Mr Kennedy actually have quite a lot in common: they're both brash, cocky heels whose charm on the microphone belies a mean and aggressive streak in the ring.
But the men behind the masks didn't see to eye. In fact, in one interview Kennedy accused The Viper (along with John Cena) of complaining to management after a botch in one of their matches, an event which was said to have precipitated his release from the company.
Orton later admitted telling his creative masters that he wasn't keen on working with Kennedy again, although couldn't help but take the opportunity of throwing a few verbal barbs of his own, basically suggesting that his opponent's wrestling style left a lot to be desired.
As far as we're aware, the duo are yet to kiss and make up, which is a great shame. It means that it's highly unlikely we'll ever see Kennedy, once a promising rising star, back in a WWE ring again - at least not until Orton calls it a day.
