10 Reasons Ambrose Vs Rollins Is The New Triple H Vs Michaels

10. It Doesn't Have To Be Only Singles Matches

When looking back on the classic matches Triple H and Shawn Michaels contested over the course of their feud, the most memorable matchups that come to mind include their Street Fight from SummerSlam 2002 and their Hell in a Cell match from Bad Blood 2004. However, some of their best outings against each other didn't occur when it was only the two of them. Who can forget their involvement in the first ever Elimination Chamber match at 2002's Survivor Series event? Or what about the Triple Threat match that also involved Chris Benoit for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 20? Multi-man matches can be a train wreck when thrown together for no real reason, but with the right story being told and two (or more) rivals, they can be a masterpiece. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins have proven that in recent months as well. Shortly after their feud first kicked off earlier in the summer, they didn't rush into facing off in a singles match at Money in the Bank. Instead, they both took part in the traditional Money in the Bank Ladder match for the opportunistic briefcase. It made that match all the more compelling. A Triple Threat match between Ambrose, Rollins and Roman Reigns is also a unique possibility given their time together in The Shield.
