Is part of Batista's issue an underlying jealousy of Daniel Bryan? Think about it, Batista was groomed to be the babyface winner of WWE's biggest show ever at WrestleMania 30. Instead, Bryan ended up stealing Batista's spot, his natural popularity serving to elevate him and relegate Batista. Then you have the fact that Batista has been negative to WWE about the possibility of working with Bryan at Payback. Has The Animal had enough of hearing Bryan's name chanted when he should have been hearing his own? Unlikely. Batista is in fact a big supporter of Bryan, someone who backed him from as far back as a few years ago when he refused to squash him in an early TV match, stating that he thought Bryan was "just too good". However, it is inevitable there's some degree of underlying resentment on Batista's part about current circumstances. How could there not be? Bryan is basically living Batista's life right now.
