10 Reasons Batista Is So Unhappy With WWE

7. Bad Creative

Batista's biggest grumble when he left WWE last time around was bad creative in the PG era. He is likely to have many of those same gripes right now, he must surely feel limited by what he can and can't do in 2014. The other creative issue sure to be frustrating him is the handling of his character. In retrospect he must be fuming at how the company hot-shotted him straight into a Royal Rumble win. It proved to be some of the most short-sighted creative of this decade, it achieved the exact opposite of what WWE wanted it to achieve - rather than make Batista look a star, it made him look a bad guy who had robbed fans of seeing Daniel Bryan. It wasn't Batista's fault, it was WWE creative's fault. From that day forth, Batista the hero was sabotaged, he was rendered into a secondary heel role. His character was then used in a way which basically served as partner to Randy Orton. Hardly the kind of story Batista came back to tell.
