10 Reasons Batista Is So Unhappy With WWE

3. Fan Reactions

The negative reaction of fans to Batista has definitely got to the superstar. Heavy boos at his return in the Royal Rumble (when he was meant to be getting cheered) really bothered him. Added to this was chants of 'Boo-tista', a chant you can tell he legitimately hates. So frustrated was Batista by these criticisms he actually ended up giving fans the middle finger at Royal Rumble, completely breaking his 'good guy' character to get in fan's faces. The boos and 'Boo-tista' chants haven't left him since, he remains stuck with a nuclear level of heel heat. This is a man who may never be able to work babyface again, all because of the vicious fan reactions to him in this run. He is unhappy and vocalised his thoughts on the critical fans with these Twitter comments on April 23rd- "Ive always considered myself a WWE fan first and foremost but Im completely confused Y some fans cant differentiate between SHOW and REALITY "Also noticed that most critical fans dont have pics of themselves posted or need to take a good look in the mirror! People in glass houses.. "Anyway...peace to all my positive people! Looking forward to the day when I can go back to interacting with twitches w/o all the negativity" It now looks like Batista has given up on the day he can interact with WWE fans without negativity. Loud "You can't wrestle" chants were all you could hear when he was in the ring at Extreme Rules. The crowd hate him, plain and simple.
