5. Wrestlemania VS Triple H Is A Big Deal
Okay, so it seems that CM Punk would disagree with this one, but having a match with Triple H at Wrestlemania is a very big deal, and WWE think so too. You only have to look at The Game's Wrestlemania opponents since the turn of the century to see that: 2000: The Rock, Mick Foley, Big Show 2001: The Undertaker 2002: Chris Jericho 2003: Booker T 2004: Shawn Michaels, Chris Benoit 2005: Batista 2006: John Cena 2007: N/A 2008: Randy Orton, John Cena 2009: Randy Orton 2010: Sheamus 2011: The Undertaker 2012: The Undertaker 2013: Brock Lesnar Sheamus wasn't a major star at the time, but it was pretty clear that the WWE expected him to end up that way and his match with Triple H at Wrestlemania was seen as a launchpad for his career. Other than Sheamus, every one of those matches was a big deal. Some were for titles and some even closed the show, but the caliber of opponent makes all of these matches a main event. CM Punk may not have seen it as a big enough a deal for him, but Daniel Bryan will be added to that list in 2014 and it is currently the most anticipated match of Wrestlemania 30. That is a HUGE deal and WWE clearly think that Daniel Bryan is worthy of the honour, as they clearly see him as a major player in their company now.
