5. Introduce "Stone Cold" Steve Austin Back To Regular WWE Television
Recent reports have circulated regarding the notion that Vince McMahon has ordered more "Stone Cold" Steve Austin merchandise to be put into production. Obviously, given WWE's lack of top-flight and over babyfaces, this would indicate that Austin has been tapped to be a short-term stopgap solution to WWE's issues. Austin clearly wouldn't wrestle, but as some sort of babyface foil to The Authority, bringing back CM Punk to Raw in Chicago for one night only would give WWE fans a sense that Austin *actually* knows what's "best for business." The insanity of Punk's appearance, say, during an Austin/Seth Rollins promo, would be astounding. Rollins being forced to choose between eating a Stone Cold Stunner or the GTS would be the kicker, though. Does Punk stay on after that night? That's ultimately up to him. But aligning him with Stone Cold (especially for the humor of him not drinking a beer) would be tremendous fun.
