10 Reasons CM Punk Should Stay Retired And Never Return To WWE

The best in the world is better off remaining the best on his couch.

CM Punk€™s decision to walk away from WWE during what many consider to be the prime of his career has been quite the hot button topic within the wrestling world over the course of the year. A very polarizing issue stemming from an equally polarizing performer, most fans find themselves firmly on one side of the fence or the other. You€™re either pro-Punk, supporting his choice to leave WWE and do his own thing, or you€™re of the opinion that walking out while still under contractual obligations was a bad move made by a person in the midst of having a hissy fit. Whether you admire him as an incredibly talented wrestler who left in defense of his principles re or a petulant child who took his ball and went home when he didn€™t get his way, no one can deny that CM Punk still has fans talking more than 6 months since walking away. That€™s a testament to how over he was/is and his ability to connect with the fanbase. So will he return or won€™t he? That€™s the question that we keep asking ourselves. For months, his supporters held out hope that at any moment during a big angle €œCult of Personality€ would hit over the loudspeakers and their guy would return. But as we get further and further removed that looks like less of a possibility. Although it may not be the popular opinion among his many diehard fans, in this article we€™re going to cover the reasons why Punk should stay retired.
